travelet collects nothing. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and it makes no network connections of any kind. Everything you put in it stays on your phone.

Your documents

When you add a PDF, travelet copies it into its own storage on your device. That copy is never uploaded, shared, or transmitted anywhere. It is readable only by travelet and by anything you have given access to your device's own backups.

What the app reads out of them

travelet reads the text of the PDFs you add so it can show a boarding pass's flight, gate, seat and times on the card, and so it can offer to remind you about a flight. This happens entirely on your device, in the app. Nothing that is read is sent anywhere, and no copy of it leaves the app.

Reminders

If you allow notifications, travelet asks iOS to show you a small number of reminders before a flight it found in one of your own boarding passes. These are scheduled on your device and delivered by your device. There is no server, no push service, and no message that travels over the internet.

What we, the developers, receive

Nothing. We cannot see your documents, whether you use the app, or that you have installed it. Apple may give us anonymous, aggregate figures about downloads and crashes if you have agreed to share those with Apple — that is a setting on your device, between you and Apple, and it never contains your documents or anything read out of them.

Deleting your data

Throwing a document out in the app deletes the copy it made. Deleting the app deletes everything it ever held. There is nothing for you to ask us to erase, because there is nothing of yours on our side to erase.

Children

travelet is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If a future version of travelet ever needs to send anything off your device, this page will say so plainly, and the app will ask you first. The date at the top of this page is when it was last changed.
